Why we’re dying for “Welcome to Season 2 of Crappie Lake.”

Welcome to Crappie Lake was one of those 30-minute reality TV shows that didn’t focus on the negative or who betrayed who. Instead, the show allowed viewers to immerse themselves in a humorous world controlled by Luann de Lesseps and Sonja Morgan. The two women showed what a difference something can do to a community in need. Honestly, a second season wouldn’t hurt fans’ morale.
Sonja and Luann are a pip

Sonja is everything, as I have often emphasized. Their willingness to be funny yet authentic is a big part of what made the first season of Crappie Lake so great. Between her bar/bra hangouts looking for a man and her VIP connections, she always had something fun up her sleeve. Luann is a great buddy who no longer needs to be in the spotlight. The two women share a genuine friendship that is sometimes hard to find on a Bravo series.
The women went looking for catfish, made mud, tried balls at the testicle festival and helped celebrate Christmas in July. Without a doubt, Crappie Lake is one of the best shows Bravo has produced in a long time. I mean, Sonja was humping Luann’s leg in the first minute of Episode 1 – there’s just no comparison. A second season would only showcase more of the women’s quirky personalities, which fans are more than ready for.
Crappie Lake was a pleasant surprise

Crappie Lake was anything but shit, as having both of them back on the road can only be a positive for Bravo since so many viewers wanted to see more in the first season. With the success of reviving tourism in Benton, Illinois, there are so many more cities that could benefit from Sonja and Luann’s help.
It would be easy to watch Sonja and Luann in multiple locations since the formula would most likely always work. Bravo fans loved that Luann and Sonja were able to fit in and adapt to their surroundings without acting like they were above everyone else.
Will Bravo Greenlight Crappie Lake Season 2?

Nothing has been decided at this time regarding the status of Crappie Lake’s second season. However, Luann has dropped hints, via Page Sixthat there had been “talks” about another season. The Berlin, CT native noted, “I don’t think they knew what to expect, but Sonja and I both grew up in small towns, so our lives have changed, sure, but we’re still small town girls at heart as we are.” really fell in love with her.”
I would love to see a second season because honestly I felt so good about the first season. It brought me joy in the evenings and made me laugh as if I were surrounded by close friends. The only downside was the realization that these wonderful RHONY ladies would never be back on their original series – but that’s a good replacement.
Possible Welcome to Crappie Lake Season 2 Filming Locations

Season 2 could always explore a city like Kingston, New York, once a prosperous industrial town on the Hudson. Now that it’s being rebuilt, there are still extremely run-down areas that could use some TLC. Luann used to own a house near Kingston, so the network could easily tell a heartwarming story there.
The ladies could also check out Hot Springs, NC. This small-town atmosphere is known for its natural springs and mineral water. The former Real Housewives of New York City stars were able to explore the Appalachian Trail while also learning about hunting and other outdoor activities.
A third interesting option could be sending Sonja and Luann to Crystal River, Florida, not to be confused with Jason Voorhees’ Camp Crystal Lake. The former has the chance to become a fun hotspot. The Bravo stars could help out at the Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge because they love animals. You could also visit Crystal River Archaeological State Park, which features remains of an early Native American settlement. As you can see, there are plenty of new locations for the ladies to choose from.
