Travis Kelce was seemingly nowhere to be found on the opening night of Taylor Swift’s three-show set in Buenos Aires, Argentina. according to Page Six – but his brother believes he will “show up somewhere.”
Kelce is expected to travel to the South American country to see Swift during his NFL bye week as she showcases the international swing of her Eras Tour.
The Chiefs won’t return to the practice field until Monday, when Kelce will be back in time, a source told Page Six on Wednesday.
With shows on Friday and Saturday, Kelce, 34, still has the chance to see Swift, 33, live for the first time since they became an item.
Chiefs tight end Swift appeared during the Kansas City stop of their Eras Tour in August before the two met.
Kelce He shyly discussed some of his plans for the bye week with his older brother Jason Kelce on the “New Heights” podcast this week, and Jason faced questions about his brother’s plans during his appearance on Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football.”
“It’s something new every week,” Jason, 36, told Al Michaels. “I’m sure he’ll show up somewhere this bye week.”
However, it appeared that Jason’s lack of insight into his younger brother’s plans may have been intentional.
Jason joked that Travis didn’t tell him certain things to prevent it from getting out.
“He purposefully leaves me out of it, he knows my mouth is a little big these days,” the elder Kelce joked. “Giving a little too much media coverage.”
Michaels then asked Jason directly if Travis was in Argentina.
“I don’t know. It’s a bit like ‘Carmen Sandiego,’ he’ll show up somewhere,” Jason replied.
The comings and goings of Kelce and Swift’s romance have been making headlines since the two first linked in September.
Swift has made several appearances at Travis’ games this season after they became involved with each other.
