Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval talk about the Scandinavian reaction at BravoCon 2023

Tom Sandoval And Tom Schwartz candid about how the public’s strong reaction to Scandoval has affected her.
“It’s weird to be publicly shamed,” Schwartz, 41, said exclusively Us weekly on Friday, November 3rd, following the Vanderpump Rules Panel at BravoCon. “I was guilty by association or however you want to put it, but it was very bizarre at times. I could understand the absurdity of it, but at times it was very sad and kind of frightening.”
Schwartz teased that at some point in the future, he and Sandoval, 40, might “go back and look at all the DMs” they received at the height of the scandal.
Earlier that day, Us confirmed that Sandoval was repeatedly booed during the reality series panel on the first day of BravoCon in Las Vegas – which runs through Sunday, November 5. On stage, presenter Karamo Brown asked the cast – including Ariana Madix, Katie Maloney, Lala Kent, James Kennedy And Scheana Shay in addition to Schwartz and Sandoval — in case anyone was nervous about being there. Sandoval then raised his hand, which resulted in a negative reaction from the crowd.
While the panel ultimately went as Sandoval expected, he joked about it Us that it “felt great” to be booed by the audience.
“It gives you a little bit of reality [for] There’s really no better term,” Sandoval said exclusively Us. “It kind of keeps you grounded. I don’t know.”

Sandoval established himself as a reality TV villain earlier this year when it was revealed in March that he had a months-long affair with his co-star Raquel Leviss while he and Madix, 38, were together. Sandoval and Madix quit after nine years in the wake of the Scandoval scandal.
The public scrutiny was so bad that Sandoval confessed to us that he was considering not going back VPR After finishing the tenth season, he finally decided to stay on the series for the next season.
“I think that when things get really difficult for me to cope with life, it’s good to challenge myself,” he explained. “Do what’s hard, you know what I mean?”
On the first day of BravoCon, the official teaser trailer for Season 11 of VPR dropped – leading to several feuds, fights and altercations between the stars. The show will officially return to television screens in January 2024.
