Three teenagers arrested after attack on 14-year-old boy on Halloween night in Sligo – The Irish Times

Three male youths arrested in connection with a serious assault in Co. Sligo will appear in court this morning.

This comes after a teenager was left in a serious condition following an alleged assault outside a building on Mailcoach Road in Co Sligo at around 7.10pm on Tuesday evening.

The teenager was taken to University Hospital Sligo with serious injuries. He currently continues to receive treatment at Beaumont Hospital.

The crime scene was preserved for technical examination on Wednesday morning and the investigation is continuing at Sligo Garda Station.

Meanwhile, the three teenage men who were arrested and charged will appear in Sligo District Court on Thursday morning.
