The Most Problematic 90 Day Fiancé Couples
It’s no secret that the 90 Day Fiancé Franchise has seen some unique couples over the years. The original series focused exclusively on international individuals moving to the United States to marry their American fiancé, although recent spin-offs have deviated from this. Many couples who appeared on the original series also appeared in spin-offs, including 90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? and 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way “.
While 90 Day Fiancé has featured many amazing love stories, it has also featured some very problematic ones. Several couples have exhibited toxicity and abuse in their relationships, which was honestly difficult to watch at times. The following five problematic 90 Day Fiancé couples are arguably the most toxic to ever grace the series.
Gino & Jasmine
Gino Palazzolo and Jasmine Pineda made their debut on “Before The 90 Days,” where they quickly showed their true colors. Gino traveled to Panama to meet Jasmine for the first time, where it was later revealed that he had sent nude photos of Jasmine to his ex. This portrayed Gino as the villain in the relationship, although it didn’t take long for that to change.
When the couple returned for a second season, Jasmine revealed that she was still in contact with her ex behind Gino’s back. That made Jasmine look hypocritical, especially when she decided to move into the same building as him using Gino’s money. Despite all their problems, Gino and Jasmine still seem to be doing well and are now living together in the United States.
Paul & Karine
Paul Staehle and Karine Martins are a controversial former couple, although their relationship status has been unclear for years. Throughout their time on the franchise, the ex-couple appeared on Before The 90 Days, Happily Ever After? and The Other Way. Despite having two children together and trying to make things work, Karine ultimately couldn’t come to terms with Paul.
Paul was often criticized by fans for inappropriate behavior towards other women, but this was not the case Take Karine long enough to tire of his shenanigans. After their time on the show, Paul and Karine lost custody of their sons in a difficult court case. They were recently spotted together at Disneyland. This led to rumors that they were back together, which Paul later denied. Instead, he claimed he had a girlfriend and that Karine was dating several men.
Colt & Larissa
Colt Johnson and Larissa Lima were another couple in the books whose relationship was put on hold after less than a year! Larissa moved to Las Vegas to marry Colt, but quickly had problems with his mother, Debbie Johnson. At one point, Even Larissa admitted to flushing her wedding ring down the toilet! Can it get much worse?
When Colt and Larissa returned for “Happily Ever After?”, it was anything but. Larissa was arrested when Colt accused her of domestic violence, and viewers watched them resolve the matter in court. Larissa stressed the possibility of deportation, while Colt eventually found love with another woman, Vanessa Guerra.
Danielle & Mohamed
Danielle Mullins and Mohamed Jbali were what reality television is all about, but their relationship was still incredibly toxic. Viewers were suspicious from the moment Mohamed, 26, moved to the US from Tunisia and claimed to love Danielle, who was 15 years his senior.
Problems quickly arose for the former couple when Danielle revealed that she had been dishonest with Mohamed about their finances. In return, Mohamed said several times that he was not attracted to Danielle, which made it seem like he was using her. Ultimately, Mohamed filed for divorce and the couple separated. But this was not the case Stop it, Danielle from putting together a folder about their relationship, which she later threw at him!
Angela & Michael
Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi were fan favorites when they were first introduced on Before The 90 Days, but their relationship has been extremely toxic ever since. As the seasons pass, Angela began Behaving aggressively towards Michael, such as when she threw a cake in his face. Later, Angela hit a new low when she flew to Nigeria without telling Michael and tried to dismantle his car.
Angela also accused Michael of cheating several times, and he later admitted to cheating online when he messaged a fan. However, Angela also admitted to having a crush on her boyfriend Billy, but never admitted that she was in the wrong about it. Angela and Michael are currently working on their relationship on 90 Day: The Last Resort, so we’ll find out what their current status is soon.
