Suspect arrested in shooting of teenagers in Harrisburg

UPDATE: According to the Harrisburg Police Commissioner, Thomas Carter Mandjou Sylla has been arrested.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) – Police have identified a suspect in a weekend shooting that sent three teenagers to the hospital in Harrisburg.

Mandjou Sylla, 20, of Harrisburg, faces criminal charges including four counts of attempted murder, five counts of aggravated assault and one count of being a person incapable of possessing a firearm and having a firearm without License to carry, online court documents show. He was also charged with recklessly endangering another person.
Sylla is accused of the shooting that injured a 3-year-old, an 11-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, in the area of North 18th and Regina streets, police said of Harrisburg in a press release. After first responders arrived on scene, they were taken to the hospital for preliminary treatment.
There is currently an arrest warrant against Sylla.
