Study shows Pennsylvania is not among the safest states

PENNSYLVANIA (WHTM) – A new study shows Pennsylvania isn’t as safe as you’d think.

According to the study conducted by WalletHub, they compared 50 states based on 52 security key indicators. This data ranges from attacks per capita to total climate-related losses to unemployment rates.

The study found that Pennsylvania ranked 29th out of the 50 states. The state ranked 21st out of 50 when it came to personal and home safety, 35th for financial security, 28th for traffic safety and 27th for workplace safety and emergency preparedness.

According to the study, the safest state was Vermont and the least safe state was Louisiana.
