Scores, news and more from NFL’s “MNF”

The Jets’ path to a postseason berth was made easier this weekend – as both the Bills and Dolphins lost – and on Monday night they have a chance to help their own cause.

Zach Wilson and the Jets face Justin Herbert’s Chargers on “Monday Night Football,” with Gang Green looking to leave MetLife Stadium on a four-game winning streak.

The Jets’ offense certainly needed to improve after an ugly overtime win against the Giants last week, but Wilson’s continued progress – as well as the emergence of Breece Hall – combined with a productive defense was enough.

Los Angeles struggled with four losses in six games to start the season, but the Chargers cruised to a convincing 30-13 win over the Bears in Week 8 as Herbert threw for 298 yards and three touchdowns.

They lost wideout Mike Williams to injury this season, but Los Angeles still has a strong cast of offensive players around Herbert, running back Austin Ekeler and wideout Keenan Allen.
