Scattered light showers today, getting colder for Halloween

TODAY: Scattered light showers, windy. Hello 63. Wind: NW 5-15 mph.
TONIGHT: Clear skies, patchy frost. Lo 35. Wind: NW 5-15 mph.
HALLOWEEN DAY: Sunny and cool. Hello 52.
TRICK-OR-TREAT: Dry, pleasant but cool. Temperatures in the 40s.
This week is off to a wet start with a few scattered showers as a cold front moves through Pennsylvania today. While there won’t be much rain, it will be wet for most of the morning and early afternoon. Temperatures will be slow to rise, but highs today should be seasonable in the lower 60s. Winds will also pick up later today as the front moves through. Expect clearing skies with patchy frost tonight as low temperatures fall into the lower to mid 30s by early Tuesday.
Tomorrow should be a nicer day for Halloween in the region. It will be a bright sunny day, although it will be cool. Highs tomorrow will be in the low 50s. However, it will be less windy. Expect pleasant and dry conditions for trick-or-treating, but bundle up! Tomorrow night temperatures will be in the 40s for the big event! Just be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Frost and even a few snow showers aren’t out of the question overnight Tuesday into early Wednesday – so the cold is real, my friends!
Highs will fall into the upper 40s by Wednesday and the breeze will pick up again behind a weak front, adding to the cold. At the beginning of November, frosty starts are more common this week. This week will see mostly drier weather with a warming trend through the end of the week and into the weekend. Highs will climb back into the low 60s by next Saturday and things will start to look more seasonal starting next week.
