RHONJ’s Jackie Goldschneider opens up about friendship with Teresa Giudice
Jackie Goldschneider speaks openly about her friendship with Teresa Giudice after a rocky road.
When asked to describe her friendship with Teresa, 51, she responded Real Housewives of New Jersey star, 47, tells exclusively Us weekly that their bond was “new, growing and mutually respectful…unexpected.”
“It was really organic,” Jackie said Us at BravoCon on Saturday, November 4th. “It was like we were just talking at a party and then we talked some more, and then we started calling each other, and then we hung out and started hugging. We like eachother. Yes, it really grew organically.”
During season 11 of RHONJTeresa and Jackie’s friendship was put to the test after Teresa claimed that Jackie’s husband, Evan GoldschneiderHe had an affair. After the season premiered in February 2021, Jackie reflected on the moment on an episode of the Getting Real with the Housewives podcast.
“She doesn’t even know who told her. I don’t even think anyone told her. I think she did it,” Jackie said. “I was really surprised because I expect the best from people and I really thought she would do it right.”
Ahead of the 2021 season, Jackie revealed this Us that the drama almost caused her to leave the show, but she ended up staying.

Todd Williamson/Bravo“My family will always come first, and if something is in jeopardy, I will take the time I need to make sure it is something that is right for me,” she said at the time. “I don’t want to create statistics. I don’t want to be just another housewife who gets divorced.”
But now the two seem to understand each other better. In September, Jackie told exclusively Us that she was doing well with Teresa.

“All of these things are in our past and we both acknowledge that we’ve been through that,” she said at the time. “We know neither of us were very nice to each other, and that’s okay. It’s okay. We’re over it.”
Jackie also performed at BravoCon Us an update on her friendship with Margaret Josephsand she said it was “very surprising” to her that they weren’t in the best place.
“Sometimes friendships develop. They’re coming to an end,” she said.
In September, Margaret, 56, suggested there was tension between the pair.

“I love Jackie and her book has just come out. It’s powerful. I’m grateful that she says so many amazing things about me in the book, and we’re connected and we have a bond,” she told Us. “For some reason it’s not the same right now, but I’m sure it will be.”
That same month, Jackie published her memoirs: The weight of beauty, where she discussed her nearly two-decade battle with an eating disorder. For her part, Margaret said she was “moved” by Jackie’s “raw” and “inspirational” story.
