Reindeer arrive at Hersheypark Candylane for Christmas

(WHTM) – All nine of Santa’s reindeer have arrived at the “sweetest place in the world” for the opening weekend of Christmas Candylane at Hershey Park.

The reindeer’s appearance is part of a more than 25-year tradition at Hershey Park and just one part of the park’s holiday celebrations.

Christmas Candylane also features five million lights, festive family-friendly rides and, weather permitting, seven roller coasters.

This year will be the first winter for the new hybrid coaster Wildcat’s Revenge.

Holiday fun also includes an interactive experience and photo opportunities with Santa, a new Mrs. Claus’ Dance Party and seasonal treats like signature hot chocolate.

During the Candylane holiday season, Hersheypark will be open on select dates from this Friday, November 10th through January 1st, with daily operations beginning December 14th.

The park is closed on Christmas Day. Opening times vary depending on the day.
