Nintendo Switch fans are getting a huge free upgrade to one of the most popular Mario games of all time

NINTENDO has just announced a major free upgrade to one of the most popular Mario games.

Start next week Thursday, November 9, 2023people will be able to immerse themselves very soon.

Wave 6 comes to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, adding eight more tracks to the popular racer in two new cups.

The first new cup is the Acorn Cup and features two new tracks from the mobile game Mario Kart Tour.

Rome Avanti and Piranha Plant Covers are from the mobile game, which are generally the weaker waves.

However, it does contain one of the most popular courses in the entire series, DK Mountain from Mario Kart Double Dash.

Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii completes this cup and is another popular course.

The second cup is called “Spiny Cup” and only has one course from Mario Kart Tour, Madrid Drive.

A fourth version of Rainbow Road has also been added, this time from Mario Kart Wii.

The trophy also features the popular Bowser’s Castle 3 from Super Mario Kart and Rosalina’s Ice World from Mario Kart 3DS.

This final wave in the Booster Course Pass adds four more playable characters to play as.

Pauline, Peachette, Diddy Kong and Funky Kong are all added for the first time, providing the game with two more medium and two heavy characters.

This is the final wave of the Booster Course Pass to be added, bringing a total of 96 courses to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

The Booster Course Pass is included with the higher tier of the Nintendo Switch Online subscription service, or you can purchase a Booster Course Pass separately.

  • Rainbow Road – Mario Kart Wii
