Norwegian star Haaland, 23, was christened with his new nickname after the table arrived at the club’s treatment room, England defender Walker told Sky TV’s Saturday Social.

He explained: “It’s just huge, isn’t it?

“So that’s what we call him – Big E.

“We had to buy a new bed in the treatment room because it didn’t fit on the regular beds.

“He had to have his own special bed.”

Haaland terrorized defenders with his height and height Performancehas already scored 11 league goals this season.

This follows a remarkable first season at the club since he last joined Summer from Borussia Dortmund – scored 52 goals in 53 games and helped City win the Premier League, Champions League and FA Cup.

Despite his success, Walker says the Norwegian doesn’t show any ego and “he’s a great laugh.”

He added: “Of course he’s a superstar and he knows that in the nicest way, but he’s not arrogant about it.”

Off the field, Haaland likes to meditate and his trademark when celebrating a goal is the Zen pose.
