Lindsay Hubbard accuses Carl Radke of having “no empathy” after their split

News publications and Summer House viewers were more than happy to give Lindsay Hubbard her room afterwards Carl Radke dumped her three months before their wedding. No one wanted to push the issue and look for answers while the professional publicist mourned her happily ever after.
Friends and co-stars speculated about what happened. The former couple briefly dated during Season 4 of Summer House and rekindled their romance two seasons later after initially deciding not to pursue a relationship. Their engagement was recorded in season 7. And when things came full circle, the breakup was also filmed.
Now Lindsay is ready to comment. And she revealed her feelings about the first and last conversation she had with Carl after the breakup.
Carl and Lindsay spoke before their trip to the Bahamas
“We tried to sit down right before I went to the Bahamas [on what was supposed to be my bachelorette trip] and he was unable to take responsibility,” Lindsay said exclusively Us weekly. “I will not tolerate a conversation with anyone who does not have the empathy, insight or self-awareness to understand what they have done.”
And on the list of offenses, Carl called producers to capture the moment he broke up with Lindsay. Bravo cameras had already finished filming this season.
“It was a short back and forth conversation. But that’s it,” she said of confronting Carl after he ended the engagement. “And otherwise we only talk via text at the moment, when he has to go to the apartment or when I’m traveling.”
To film or not to film…
Speaking of Bravo cameras, there’s the logistical question of whether the two could film together after the breakup. After all, they are the main characters of Summer House.
“After what he has done, I would not be comfortable sharing a house with him at this point. I mean, this man – I can never trust him again,” Lindsay revealed. “The way he called the producers and set up the cameras – [he] He took me by surprise and humiliated me in such a public way. I don’t feel well at this point.”
She added: “The door is a thousand percent closed in a romantic way. And for now in a friendly way [too]. Maybe in 10 years I’ll think about becoming an acquaintance. But no, it’s completely out of the question for me.”
There is little good news here. But Lindsay found the process of unburdening cathartic.
“I want to take this burden off my shoulders. For me, it’s really the last little part of the healing process so I can break free and really move on,” Lindsay concluded.
