Katie Maloney Talks Tom Sandoval About Scheana Shay’s ‘Weird Choices’
Vanderpump Rules star Katie Maloney doesn’t understand why Scheana Shay depends on Tom Sandoval after he cheated on her friend Ariana Madix.
Katie, 36, tells exclusively Us weekly on Saturday, November 4, that she is confused by Scheana’s willingness to hang out with Sandoval, 40. “‘Girl, I love you, but why do you keep making these weird choices?'” They’re just weird choices,” Katie shared while on the BravoCon red carpet with 38-year-old Ariana.

“If you want to be friends with him, she’ll fucking cut you off,” Katie tells Scheana. “Think very carefully about your next step.”
In July, Scheana revealed during an Amazon Live broadcast that she was paired with Sandoval for a “spiritual meditation exercise” while filming the upcoming season, which will premiere on Bravo in January 2024.
“It was very awkward,” she noted, although she called the interaction “good television” for viewers. “Of course I don’t like what he did to Ariana. He and I had a really long friendship, so everyone always [says]“Oh, Scheana the flip-flopper, Scheana has to be loyal.” And it was obviously a struggle to lose such a long friendship.”

Sandoval is on track with his Vanderpump Rules Actor after his affair with former co-star Raquel Leviss came to light in March.
After Raquel, 29, confronted her co-stars during the Season 10 reunion, she checked into a treatment center for her mental health. She later confirmed that she would not be returning to the show for season 11. Sandoval admitted this Us that although he considered not returning, he ultimately decided to pursue music.
“I think that as times get really difficult for me to cope with life, it’s good to challenge myself,” he said Us on Friday at BravoCon. “Do what’s hard, you know what I mean?”
