Jets vs. Giants odds, prediction, picks: The best NFL bets

The Giants and Jets will put Garden State pride on the line this Sunday at Met Life Stadium when the two teams face off in Week 8 of the NFL.

The Jets are fresh off the bye week after handing the Philadelphia Eagles their first loss of the season with a 20-14 loss as 6.5-point home underdogs.

Robert Saleh’s team improved to 3-3 while securing their third straight coverage, all in the “dog role.”

The Giants won for just the second time this season last week – a 14-7 home win over the Washington Commanders.

New York’s defense stepped up again, allowing 14 points or fewer for the second straight game after scoring 24 or more points in each of its first five games.

Daniel Jones will not return at quarterback for the Giants after missing the last two games with a neck injury. Backup Tyrod Taylor has managed two underdog coverages in the last two weeks against Buffalo and Washington, even though the offense has only scored 23 points overall.

Under Saleh, the Jets have been favored six times since 2021 heading into Sunday’s game. The Jets have a 3-3 record in those games while they were 1-1 on the road.

Betting on the NFL?

Yes, this game will be played at the Jets’ stadium, but they did most of their damage as underdogs (4-2 against the spread), and now they have to rely on Zach Wilson as the favorite.

This will likely be a low scoring affair, but let’s get the points with the Giants here against the Jets.

The game: Giant +3
