I’ve found a little-known Android setting that makes your phone’s battery last three times longer – try it for an instant boost in performance

A TIKTOKER has revealed a very simple Android settings change that could save you tons of battery.

Keepup tools claims the hack is so effective that your battery could last up to three times longer.

The video was liked almost 7,000 times.

And the trick lies in the vibrations of your Android phone.

While vibration provides good feedback when tapping keys, it’s a feature that uses a lot more power than most other things.

Therefore, the TikToker recommends simply turning off the vibrations.

To turn it off, first go to Settings.

Look for the “Sound and Vibration” option.

You should see a vibration intensity setting that you can slide all the way down to zero.

There are three vibration options including calls, notifications and touch interaction.

So if you don’t want the vibration to disappear permanently, you can turn it off or reduce it to two instead of all three.

This way you save some more battery.

Although the video is not related to the iPhone, Apple fans can also make similar changes.

Go to Settings and look for Sounds & Haptics.
