It’s warm and windy today, maybe a passing shower

TODAY: Warm and airy, occasional shower. Hello 68. Wind: SW 5-15 mph.
TONIGHT: Increasing clouds, windy. Lo 45. Wind: W 5-15 mph.
FRIDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few showers. Hello 52. Wind: 5-15 mph.
Yesterday’s weather was more seasonal for November with highs in the 50s. However, November is rarely anything close to “normal” as fronts often cause large temperature swings this time of year. Therefore, there will be milder air again in the region today ahead of another front. Warm air will move across central PA today, with afternoon highs near 70°. Despite a cloudy start (and possibly a passing midday shower), winds will pick up and skies will clear by late afternoon while temperatures remain mild.
Clouds return Friday, while another storm system moves northward across the Mid-Atlantic tomorrow. A few isolated showers are possible in our southern counties, but not much rain is expected. Skies should clear towards the evening as high pressure builds in the area over the weekend. This high pressure will keep our weekend dry, sunny and seasonally cooler. Highs will be in the 50s while lows will be near freezing. It looks like a clear, calm and fresh November weekend – have fun!
Rain will continue to be scarce in the extended forecast. Next week also looks sunny, with a breeze on Monday and Tuesday.
