Emily Hand, believed to have been killed by Hamas, is now believed to be living in Gaza, her Irish father says
Emily Hand, an eight-year-old girl from Kibbutz Be’eri in Israel who was reportedly killed in the Hamas attack on October 7, is believed to be alive and among the hostages held in Gaza.
Emily’s family, including her Irish father Tom Hand, who was born in Dún Laoghaire, were informed of the development by Israeli authorities last week and her father has confirmed they believe this to be the case.
On October 31, the family was informed that Emily had most likely actually been kidnapped. Natalie, Emily’s sister, said Irish authorities had promised to do everything they could to help.
