Godzilla Minus One is shaping up to be one of the greatest entries in the powerful monster’s long history on screen. Now the new trailer has arrived for the first Toho Godzilla film in five years, bringing everyone’s favorite prehistoric kaiju back to his native Japan. Check out the trailer below.
Godzilla has been a pop icon for nearly 70 years, and while some interpretations of the character leave something to be desired, the character’s popularity has never waned – even in the face of the much-derided 1998 reboot starring Matthew Broderick. However, Warner Bros. MonsterVerse has produced some major box office hits from the franchise’s Western offerings, with Godzilla vs. Kong Arriving in the middle of the Covid pandemic, Apple TV+ series monarch comes November 17th and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire Publication is scheduled for 2024.
However, when it comes to doing Godzilla right, there are those who are better than Toho, and that seems to be the case with Godzilla Minus Oneas the new film has already received strong support from people like him in 2014 Godzilla Director Gareth Edwards. In a recent interview, Edwards expressed his jealousy over the film, claiming that it might clinch the title of best Godzilla film of all time.
