Everything we learned about Below Deck at BravoCon 2023
BravoCon The year 2023 was nothing short of eventful. Under deck Fans were happy to see many of the franchise’s cast members in attendance. Stars from the various spin-offs including Below Deck Sailing Yacht, Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Down Under and even Below Deck Adventure were in attendance. It was a memorable weekend for the Below Deck series, with announcements about the future of the series and interesting moments for certain cast members.
Captain Jason Chambers was the man of the weekend
Jason Chambers is one of Below Deck’s most popular cast members, so it wasn’t surprising to see the ladies staring at him everywhere he went at BravoCon! Throughout the weekend, Jason hung out with many other Bravo stars and even expressed romantic interest in some.
Earlier in the weekend, Jason met Caroline Brooks from the Real Housewives of Dubai. The two reportedly got along well and even kissed! However, Caroline wasn’t the only woman interested in Jason. He was also pictured with Lala Kent from Vanderpump Rules. Jason and Lala Apparently they had a lot in common and really enjoyed their time together. Could this be the next couple to come out of the Bravoverse?
A look at Season 11 of Below Deck
One of the biggest Below Deck updates from BravoCon was this official release of the trailer for Season 11 of Below Deck! Below Deck Adventure’s Captain Kerry Titheradge has been announced as Captain Lee Rosbach’s replacement after ten seasons. From what we saw in the trailer, it doesn’t look like Season 11 will be easy for Captain Kerry. He is shown to not only be upset with the crew, but also very angry with the guests.
Alongside Captain Kerry, Fraser Olender will return for his second season as Chief Stew. Ben Willoughby is the only other recurring cast member who will appear this season as Lead Deckhand. The three returning cast members are joined by seven new crew members. It will be interesting to see how this season goes with Captain Kerry at the helm!
Daisy Kelliher opened up about her previous romance with Colin MacRae
Daisy Kelliher was another highly anticipated Below Deck contestant and talked about a lot of tea this past weekend. she was caught up in an infamous love triangle with Colin MacRae and Gary King in the final season of Sailing Yacht. It didn’t end well. For the first time since the Season 4 reunion of Sailing Yacht, Daisy and Colin had the opportunity to chat at BravoCon.
Luckily for Daisy and Colin, they seem to have put the problems between them behind them in the past. During a joint interview at BravoCon, Daisy admitted that she has no problem working with Colin in the future and stressed that she will keep things professional. Colin revealed he felt the same way and said he felt bad that their brief romance had such a negative impact on their friendship. Gary was not present at BravoCon due to allegations of sexual misconduct.
Aesha Scott became an instant fan favorite after her time on Below Deck Med, but her popularity skyrocketed after she became Chief Stew on Below Deck Down Under. Aesha appeared at BravoCon right alongside Captain Jason, and the two have one of the most admirable captain-chief-stew relationships in the franchise. However, their relationship is strictly platonic as Aesha has had a boyfriend for three years.
At BravoCon Aesha gave Fans got a highly anticipated update on her love life since the end of Below Deck Down Under season 2. Aesha is still in a happy relationship and revealed that she and her boyfriend have since moved on. Aesha also commented on Captain Jason’s bachelor status and admitted that she sent him with Lala. To help them get things going, Aesha even removed herself from a group conversation so they could chat privately.
BravoCon 2023 was a huge weekend for the Below Deck franchise with plenty of big moments and reveals. With a franchise as big and dramatic as Below Deck, there’s always something new to talk about!
