Las Vegas, Nevada — The New York Giants fear Daniel Jones has a torn ACL in his right knee, sources told ESPN. An MRI is scheduled for Monday.

Jones left Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders after the first play of the second quarter with a right knee injury and did not return.

The Giants shut him out at halftime.

Jones went to the ground awkwardly and untouched, dropped back to the pass and then grabbed him by the knee. He may have injured it on the final play of the first quarter and went to the ground uninjured before Raiders defensive end Maxx Crosby touched him down.

According to the Fox broadcast, Jones told running back Saquon Barkley that his knee was out. Jones was placed in the blue injury tent and replaced by Tommy DeVito. He later went to the locker room with head coach Ronnie Barnes.

Jones signed a four-year, $160 million contract extension with New York in the offseason. This is the second time he has been injured this season. He missed the last three games due to a neck injury.
