Drugs worth €25,000, luxury cars and designer watches seized in Dundalk raid – The Irish Times

A joint Garda and Revenue operation in Dundalk, Co. Louth saw a man arrested and suspected cannabis worth around €25,000 seized.

Three designer watches and a luxury car were also seized under Section 7 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006.

In total, controlled drugs worth over €25,000, a quantity of cash and assets worth over €30,000 were seized.

This operation was carried out on Thursday by the Garda Armed Support Unit, the Louth Divisional Search Team as well as Revenue Customs Officers and the Louth Dog Warden.

A man, aged in his 20s, has been arrested and held at a Garda station in County Louth. He has since been released without charge and a file is being prepared for the DPP.

The investigation is ongoing.
