Chiefs vs. Broncos, Rams vs. Cowboys Prediction: NFL Picks, Odds

Kansas City Chiefs (-7) over DENVER BRONCOS

For all the hate the Chiefs get for not covering spreads, they have covered in five of seven games in 2023.

At this rate they will always be the favorites, but seven points is just the right number to win against the Broncos.

Denver is the fourth-worst team in the NFL in terms of DVOA, allows the most yards per game (6.5) and looks to be in top form heading into the week.

Injuries or not, the Chiefs started at 9.5 and were dropped to seven, where we reach push territory if the carnage only ends with a touchdown.

Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and Co. should dominate here at Mile High.

Los Angeles Rams (+6.5) over DALLAS COWBOYS

Sean McVay added another kid to his roster this week and wants to show the Cowboys who daddy is this weekend at Jerry World.

Since the departure of Trevon Diggs, the Cowboys are allowing 5.2 yards per play, which is about average in the NFL. That’s a far cry from when they had the No. 1 defense in DVOA for four weeks.

Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua have proven to be elite route runners and consistently come into play.

Betting on the NFL?

For a team that relies heavily on defense, the Cowboys do a poor job of slowing teams down, and the quarterback advantage should be Los Angeles’s.

Matthew Stafford is seventh at his position, while Dak Prescott is at the bottom at 14th.

Take the points and look for a possible surprise.

Last week: 1-1. Hawks (W); Brown’s (L).

Season 2023: 6-7-1.
