British tourist, 24, dies in horrific hit-and-run accident in Bali after a car throws him from his motorbike before he fled the scene

A BRIT tourist has been killed in a hit-and-run in Bali.
The 24-year-old vacationer was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by an oncoming car.
Cops arrested the 54-year-old driver after he fled the scene on Singaraja-Kintamani Highway on November 2.
The driver told police in Bali that he continued driving because he was not aware that he had hit the Briton.
He said he thought he had just “grazed” the holidaymaker after he veered too far.
Buleleng Police Traffic Unit Head AKP Bakhtiar Arifin said: “He thought he was only grazed because he was positioned from the side.”
“It didn’t feel like he had been hit, so he continued his journey towards Kintamani.”
The driver, named Njoo Pin Tek, remains in custody pending investigation.
AKP Arifin added: “The case is being processed for resolution.”
The Briton’s family is now trying to get his body returned to Britain.
AKP Arifin said: “The British Consulate supports the desire of the victim’s family to resolve this case amicably.”
The Sun has contacted the Foreign Office for comment.
