Bill suggested that Knoebels Day be held in Pennsylvania

(WHTM) – A bill would make one day in April “Knoebels Amusement Resort Day in Pennsylvania.”

The proposal from state representatives Robert Leadbeter (R-Columbia), Joanne Stehr (R-Schuykill, Northumberland) and Michael Stender (R-Northumberland, Montour) would recognize April 28, 2023 as “Knoebels Amusement Resort Day in Pennsylvania.”

The memorandum said that despite devastating floods six times in the past 50 years, the park has recovered better than ever and continues to host 1.4 million guests each year.

Knoebels Amusement Resort is the largest free-admission amusement park in the country, which also offers free parking, free entertainment and free picnic areas.
