Are banks closed on Friday for Veterans Day?

(WHTM) – With Veterans Day right around the corner, you may need to plan if you plan on going to the bank.

According to the Federal Reserve websiteWith Veterans Day falling on a Saturday this year, all Federal Reserve banks and branches will remain open and operational on Friday, November 10th.

It is important to note that most banks and credit unions will be closed on Saturday, November 11th. It’s also always best to check with your local branch for holiday schedules and hours.

Here is a list of the Federal Reserve’s standard holidays in 2023:
